A BEST Success Story – Investing in our School Estates and Buildings
The latest in our series of success stories from across the Bedfordshire Schools Trust focuses on how we invest in our school estates and buildings.
This case study details the exclusive government funding BEST has access to as a multi-academy trust to spend on capital projects.
This money – School Conditions Allocation (SCA) and Devolved Formula Capital (DFC) – has allowed us to invest nearly £3m over the last four years on the upkeep of our schools, helping to keep them warm, safe and dry.
The success story features interviews with Chief Operations Officer Craig Smith and Operations Manager Alison Austin, as well as two of our Principals, who detail the impact the investment has had on their schools.
